Love & Ego

Long time ago, but feels yesterday,

On the inland of feelings with a cloudy day;

There was prediction of very massive waves,

Every feeling was running to safe themselves from grave;

Like a hero love comes to scene,

And built huge boat to save all kin;

As wave was near and boat ready to sail,

Someone took a count and found one missing mate;

While checking the one they found it was ego,

Not ready to hop-on as that will make him low;

Others requested and asked the mate,

To hop-on before its too late;

But ego to keep its head held high,

Didn't gave heed to anyone's cry;

People then asked love to start the boat,

Leave ego there on island to rot;

But kind hearted love can't leave mate behind,

He jumped from boat to plead ego to join;

Mad with useless pride ego rejected the plea,

But love kept pleading even to his enemy;

Finally big wave hits and tore island apart,

Boat was safe but two lives on island got lost.

Love and ego can't stay together,

One has to die for another.

If one tries to bind both of them together,

None will remain and you will break forever.
