Lord Shiva

Lord Shiva, the great destroyer,

With his trident and his fiery gaze,

He dances the dance of creation,

And brings forth a new day.

His third eye sees beyond the veil,

Into the depths of the universe,

And his matted hair holds the secrets,

Of all that is and ever will be.

He sits atop the highest mountain,

With his consort by his side,

And his devotees pray to him,

For wisdom, strength and guidance.

Lord Shiva, the lord of yogis,

Teaches us to look within,

To find the answers to our questions,

And to connect with our divine kin.

He is the embodiment of love,

And his compassion knows no bounds,

For he sees the divine in all things,

And in all beings he can be found.

So let us bow down to Lord Shiva,

And offer our prayers and our hearts,

For he is the lord of all creation,

And his love will never depart.
