Let The Old Unfold
Let The Old Unfold
I denied bleeding in the light of the sun,
Let the moon worship me once,
All the stars frisking me under the tree,
I tore myself to stitch the old me,
Oh my dark nights, I loved you a bit,
But I was falling deep down into your pit,
Before your unseen webs cover my way,
I escaped from your castle where I used to pray,
I remember when I forgot my old sea,
And what I found was a withering me,
So, I wore my fears under the same sky,
Letting myself known to the game of lie,
I stole my pain renting in your rain,
Those peaceful eyes left me blind again,
Now, Living in the ocean with my old whales,
I'm wondering about true fairytales.
