Let Me Paint

Let me paint the sky for you

With love and trust sprayed in brilliant hues

I'll paint the clouds in saffron and green

And white ones I will drag in between

Then I'll paint on them a wheel in blue

And tell the winds to sail them to you.

So next when you see them in familiar hues

You'll remember the kinship between me and you.
