“Let It Wither”
“Let It Wither”
Let it die with the dignity it deserves
be it the roses or promises, let it wither
kalopsia gently mould within fingers
Dazzling lids on moonstruck haze
Sudden callous nails, slashing fate
shattering Nepenthe, was it that tender?
tender grains of love sliding,
a mystique sign of death, silence!
A nod from above- child, let it go..
I move above the pain, of my old flame
I let it die and bury, showering sheer dignity..
has it withered? (Maybe, I’ll never know)
