Let Her Fly!
Let Her Fly!
And I built a castle,
For her to reside,
A safe haven,
Away from the cruelty
Of life,
Away from people,
Guffaw! So fine!
Where she will know,
But know not the things,
This world has to offer!
And though I am holding her in,
I know I am not right!
For she has a spirit of a bird,
Meant to fly!
Where she will know, that
Beyond the roof of the castle,
Lies a vast blue sky,
Where sun doesn't always shine,
And clouds don't always rain,
But at times, they both exist together,
For it to be stained!
She will know,
That its not always breeze,
Where she could fly with ease,
But wind is also true,
Which she needs to pass through!
She will know of people,
White, black and some shaded grey!
Some who might leave,
And some might stay,
So she will learn to care,
And how to be careful!
To be strong, but yet gentle!
And above all!
She will know 'love',
Love that pains and heals,
Breaks and makes,
Love that melts the stone-cold hearts,
A love that is said to be true!
So yes! She will learn,
To keep a part of red for herself,
Before it's painted blue!
