DILIP KUMAR lives on in all our hearts,

For legends don't die they just pass away,

Never far away from us, never do they part,

They are a part of our memory every day.

Dilip Kumar was born to be a legend,

A name to a glittering career he did lend,

He was born for fame, he kept up his name till the end.

From the beginning of his life to the very end.

An elegy I shall not write for he lives on;

An elegy is only for those who are no more,

For he lives amongst us, he is not gone,

Dilip Sahab will always be a part of our folklore.

Legends like Dilip Sahab don't die, they live forever,
