Kingdom

Ravana 

He fought, he saught 

havoc he wrought,

he was a terror 

his rule unbearable 

A curse he was 

but learned he was 

mastered music and art 

but to humanity a burden he was 

There was Love 

only for power, wealth,

woman and wine.

His kingdom of gold 

would always shine. 

He became invincible,

 and people's life miserable,

a concern for humankind,

no solution could anyone find.

 He was known as Dashanana.

His Devi Sita's abduction 

led to his kingdom's destruction.

All waiting for intervention 

Divine 

Rama 

A virtuous king, 

a beloved son,

enemies he had none 

He descended from heaven. 

His powers mystique 

to fight injustice,

an epitome of Love and brotherhood,

for righteousness, he stood.

To save the humanity,

from Dashanana's tyranny

he picked his Bow and Arrow 

rescuing, Devi Sita, and

to end millions' sorrow.

He put an end to tyranny, saving lives of many. 

This was his Victory 

 Lord Rama conquered every heart,

without using weapon or power 

his blessings on all shower.

He is known as 'Marayada 

Purushotam Rama'

His kingdom, 

He ruled for many years,

People knew no fears.
