In the realm where valor breathes,

Where heroes etch their noble deeds,

We gather now, with hearts ablaze,

To honor those of Kargil's days.

Upon the peaks, where snowflakes dance,

A battle raged, a fateful chance,

Men of steel, with spirits bold,

Guarding their land, in stories untold.

Kargil, a name that echoes still,

A tale of courage, against all will,

On rocky slopes, 'midst icy air,

They stood as one, with steadfast glare.

Beneath the flag, a crimson hue,

They fought for freedom, through and through,

With every step, with every breath,

They faced the enemy, defying death.

Through treacherous paths, they marched ahead,

Facing the adversary, their fears widespread,

The mountains bore witness, to their might,

As they fought valiantly, through the darkest night.

Families waited, hearts in despair,

Praying for heroes, caught in warfare,

Yet amidst the chaos, hope did rise,

Unyielding faith, in tearful eyes.

Kargil Divas, a solemn day,

To honor those who paved the way,

Their sacrifice, a debt we owe,

For the land we cherish, they did bestow.

So let us stand, united and strong,

Remembering those who sang freedom's song,

Their names forever etched in our core,
