Judge Me - Not
Judge Me - Not
You judge me by my clothes,
You judge me by my hair.
You judge me by my skin, its tone, its texture,
If it's oily or dry or just right.
All you do is judge me,
You forget I am a living breathing human just like you.
Do you ever care that I have feelings too,
Blood runs through my veins just like yours do.
I have emotions too anger, happiness, sorrow, fear,
just like you do.
You judge me if I have one too many pimples,
oh, that horrid acne!
You judge me by the way I walk, talk or even laugh,
oh, her laugh is so awkward I am embarrassed for her!
All you do is snicker as I walk by,
Claiming that girls who don’t fit your pretty picture shouldn’t exist,
That they are an embarrassment to our nation,
But I have feelings too just like you do.
You judge me for my bold clothes,
Girls with dark skin should never wear fluorescent you say.
You judge me for my curly hair,
Yet when your favorite actor curls her hair its perfect you say.
All you do is laugh at me for not changing with the trend,
She is still stuck in the 90s you say.
You mock me for wearing dark clothes,
She is just a pretend emo you say.
Yet when I wear bright clothes you mock me just as much.
No matter what I do you still judge me,
Just what do you want me to do.
Just leave me alone I cry in pain,
You forget I am human too.
All you do is judge me,
Just stop and let me be.
Just stop and let me be free,
Just let me be me.
