The illusion of joy 

So much Woven deep in our mind

We tend to forget that 

There are feelings of another kind!

The world puts the happiness 

At the top of its throne

Without divulging thoughts

Hit us so hard

We start ignoring our soul

To keep it guard!

Leashed with the feelings

Which root deep

Slowly it consumes ourselves

Which we try so hard to keep!

It's perfectly fine to cry sometimes

It's because of the sadness

That happiness sees its height

Just like without darkness

There is no sign of light!
