It's About 'Me'

It's About 'Me'

Please don't scream, if I can't read.

Please bear with me, hold on, I've something to tell...

My mind, to be precise, is blank like a crisp white sheet.

Baffled I look at you... I fumble when you scream..

'Read... Read, read aloud... What's wrong?? Why can't you just read?'

An array of instructions like swift, spiky arrows,

Passes through my hollow mind, but pokes my tender heart..

O teacher,

Says who I can't read?

I read and tell when mummy is upset.

My hands begin to sweat, when daddy's fuming eyes hold me the culprit.

I can read, may be not the words of the world,

But the gestures, that can't be heard.

In simple words... My mind gets blurred, everything bottles up inside, though eyes says it all, yet it's all overheard.

You move ahead, leaving behind this nerd!!

Let me confess, I must surrender.

You know, humungous answers, formulas, equations and many more are just impossible for me to remember.

I've something to share. It's easy to recall and sing the morning prayer.

The sage in me is tuned to rhythm and tunes.

My tiny brain, can't bear the strain.

It's not to accommodate monstrous concepts.

It is born to adore poems and sonnets..

My mind, ceaselessly gallops like a fawn.

Bustling through the twigs, grass and flowers adorning the rectangular lawn.

Amidst of my day dreaming....there blows a horn...

Pay attention!! You walk away calling me a moron!!

I begin to question my existence, What will I be? Why was I ever born??

Don't ignore me.. I can't be them.

There's something in me .. that's just me.

The way I am. It all about  'Me'
