Black is new White

They say change is the law of nature..

It is applicable to every creature

From perception to mindset

From situation to trying times people change like the shades of color.

This reality is yours too not just alone mine..

That's when I say, Black is new White.

As the clock strikes five, I straighten up my curled up thighs.

My half slept mind pacifies my slumber heart..

Sooner or later I have to bring it to start.

Keeping my comforts at bay, like a juggler I start my day.

7:28, is at the bullseye!

I rush!

I almost fly!

I elope in haste!

Often I meet the target, sometimes I get late.

Keeping the truth at a distance of hand.

I begin to explore for lame excuses beforehand.

So you see 

Black has taken over the White in me.

From resolving personal differences to welcoming stony appearances.

From comprehending sluggish banter to patiently wait for valued interference.

From witnessing age-old perseverance to ignoring people's nonadherence.

In spite of so many despite ...

I greet my acquaintances with warm enduring smile.

Subsequently, I camouflage in colors and characters I play..

Black is my new White, I profoundly say...

Apparently, dusk is no different from dawn.

Children who were busy coloring with their crayons..

Seeing me they jump in ecstasy! me like a lottery; they like a winner.

'Pasta you promised!! Today at dinner!'

Here I give birth to a sinner!

My heart begins to mourn, when I lie,' Pasta... No packet at home.'

My voice turns bleak, I appear to be meek 'I promise I'll make it next week.'

Dejected faces numbly to take their regular meal.

Sorry for not fulfilling your desire, 

Hope you understand I get so tired.

Colors are an integral part of our lives, sometimes it's Black, sometimes it's only about White.
