It Hurts Most
It Hurts Most

It is mistaken to assume
And wrongly to presume
That love dies
Or evaporates
It may go into an oblivion
And hide from the companion
To cause anxiety and pain
To remain life long
It hurts most
And costs life, sometimes
The mind gets imbalanced
And the love is distanced
Love shall take you very far
But to remain near
With the moments enjoyed
And now it pinches and annoys
Love has no special formula
Or clear cut agenda
But it is a commitment
And promises given at that moment
Love forbids you from maligning
And resigning to the fact
That once you had promised to stay together
And now you are fearing
