Inside Out, Outside In

Inside Out, Outside In

She was the most beautiful woman

Every curve and divot seemed to be sculpted perfectly

Her hair was as soft as silk

And her skin gleamed in the sun

The beauty she held was outside not in

Her soul tarnished with envy and greed

The green light followed her

Repelling the men that wanted her

And the woman that longed to be her

She was the most beautiful woman

Encasing the ugliest soul

She was the epitome of ugly

Her body seemed to be deformed

Her nose sat on her face, crooked

Nothing was perfect

The beauty she held was inside not out

Her soul beamed a light that fueled others

Spreading kindness and joy

Attracting wondrous, caring men

And the most kind-hearted women

She was the most beautiful soul

Encapsulated by a grotesque mask
