In Your Arms
In Your Arms
Maa, when in your arms
I feel, angels are carrying me
And when you throw me
High up in the sky
I reach high and high and high
No, I don't panic Maa
I know you'll catch me
When I fall.
When I reach above the clouds
Fairies and elves come out to play
They tell me stories
Of lands of pudding
Trees of chocolates and pastry cakes.
Of monsters with large, black teeth
And eyes on their forehead
Their arms as long as the neem tree
In our garden big,
There, I run and play and hop and skip
And dance to my heart's content.
Then suddenly I hear
From a faraway land
A soothing voice beckoning me,
Come back love
It's time to get dressed
Your school and friends are calling.
