In The Moment

The present calls upon us,

It calls us now.

But all we do is think of the past,

And it's when? Why? How?

Immersed in our past mistakes or Glory,

We forget to write today's story.

It calls upon us,

Waits for us to act fast,

But we lay here keep judging ourselves for our actions of the past.

Every Moment is going by as fast as a Sun's Ray,

We hardly keep track if it's the night or the day.

Pulling us further and further into the beyond,

But instead of living now,

Of the past we become fond.

We worry about the future long,

Forgetting to sing today's song.

Whatever it brings us- Happiness or Pain,

We should take it on our stride as our only gain.

This will help us to live our future more,

As for then, our past wouldn't be so sore.

Life is but a little dream,

To live it, laugh it- is the only path it seems.

Work in the Present more,

Learn from the past,

And March on happily towards the future's Door.
