In The Act
In The Act
Things were sweeter
I loved, she did so back
I cared and bought gifts
Indeed She was my lilac
I plucked many flowers
Roses Poppy and blossom
I kept them closer to my heart
Still, they tried to be a possum
Once they tried to leave me
Still, I overlooked and loved
For me, they were my family
But their actions unreproved
I had decided it was time
Getting rid of them and die
Those morons called cops
They barged, shot my thigh
They said they were captive
That I had them assaulted
They cried those fake tears
explaining they were exhausted
They said it was a crime
But it ain't no crime I screeched
No one was looking; I argued
The contract had breached
Here I lay in prison today
Caught all in the act
Psychotic they call me
And now I believe it's a fact!
