I Want To Explore

Flora and fauna in the jungles’ corridor

The kind of vegetation that is around the lakes

Creatures other than the crawling snakes

For a first-hand idea, I refer to the book

Majestic, monstrous and some animals with a harmless look

Some described with stories and lore

Certainly, I want to know more

So, to gather a greater clue

I decided to go to the zoo

So that with my eyes I could gaze

The animals whose pictures I saw on the page

Some species are shown to have a burning eye

I gather, these wild animals from the humans remain shy

So we children presume they are frightening and gruesome indeed

But perhaps they are the majestic manifestation of the divine deed
