Their hardships and struggle

With the ruler’s colonial

Punished with ‘Kalapani’ amidst the far-flung waters

Lived at stake, yet, they all undeterred

With precious independence, they made us the proudest

Human beings, they were the best

Ever indebted, let us all pay them our tribute

It is our turn; now let’s see how we contribute
