~I wanna be a child again

~I wanna be a child again

Those days when deep worries were so few,

Thoughts were as pure as blood flowing in a vein,

'Mumma, papa, hold me tight once more',

I wanna be a child again.

Those days when only candid's were fake,

Happiness was so easy to obtain,

'Someone please grant me Doraemon's time machine',

I wanna be a child again.

The days when stress was only a word,

Broken friendships and trust was soo easy to retain,

'Dida, Lets talk about how my day went',

I wanna be a child again.

The days when career and peer pressures were null,

Even the greatest pressure was to find a window seat in a train,

'Nani, please cook my favourite eatables',

I wanna be a child again.

The days when school bags were heavy not hearts,

Only happiness and joy was in our domain,

'Bhai, carry me on your shoulders, I am too tired to walk',

I wanna be a child again.

The days when tears were only a source to fulfill our desires,

Those days were such a happiness surrounded glen,

"Mum, I need peace, make out some place on your lap',

I wanna be a child again.
