~Shhh, Darling Just Sleep

Those unheard cries tend to break me, 

For what good things should I hope!?, 

Life is bringing up new battles for me every day, 

So many losses daily, how do I cope!? 

Feels like I am out of weapons for each upcoming war, 

These pains form a lump in my heart, 

Letting them go seems to be impossible, 

Every day, these things are tearing my soul apart. 

I am tired of lone battles now, 

I am tired of facing it all alone, 

This heart searches for its real soulmate, 

Everyone she meets turns out to be a clone. 

For the entire world, she is a happy smiling girl, 

She cries all alone at night, 

Her pain, agony, strength and energy are all exhausted, 

Yet she struggles to win these fights. 

Everyday, sunshine is her only hope, 

She expresses her grief to it when no one is around, 

People didn't identify her correctly, She is a gem, rarely found. 

Every night is full of flashbacks, 

Flashbacks of words, people didn't keep, 

She just hugs her pillow and says to herself, 

"Darling, Shhh, shh, shh, just go to sleep"
