Tragedy Others

I Took Too Long

I Took Too Long

I took too long, to tune correctly

The happiness of your promises, coefficiently

For my heart to feel amourous sufficiently

And my feet following you alliciently

But now on, for us, it is too late

Our paths no longer share the same fate

Frankly, I felt my past, your love would sedate

You left as I disallowed my bygones to separate

With teardrops I watch you go

Bonding and binding your days to follow

Her love, that has made your face aglow

You have managed to discard all sorrow

And for me, again I am broken

My eyes and heart are all soaked

Perhaps one day my happiness will reawaken

Lest for now, I remain a distraught maiden.
