I See More You In Me
I See More You In Me
I see more of you in me,
When my nostrils feel the fresh air,
My lungs labor, my heart pumps,
My fingers touch the bristles of my painting brush,
I forget when I last saw raindrops on my cheek,
My song oscillates the church bell,
My body cleanses my mind,
It enriches my vision,
My dream becomes a movie,
Just when it's time to build a nest,
I twitch my feathers for the sky,
Wake up son, my mother yells,
And then I become a pawn in the number game,
The limitless sky forbids my return,
Suddenly one day death knocks,
I glide and make it wait,
I tremble, dive, and fall,
In to the dark tunnel I try to see,
And I realize the mirage,
Why did you wake me when your breath was my breath,
And tear me, snatch me, clean me to new life,
Still, an old fragrance reminds me of you,
My cry is the nectar for the bee,
I confess, at discourse I see now, more you in me.
