I know at times I don’t understand you…

Not that I didn’t want to.

 

I know you thought I disrespected you…

But that’s not what my aim was.

 

I know I’ve let you down…

But I always tried for the opposite.

 

I know I get rude…

But it’s not that I didn’t wish to be polite.

 

I know I act sick…

but the problem doesn’t lie with me alone.
