I Don't Know

With wings open, I'm confused from head to toe,

So, if you ask me today, I'll just say I don't know!

I do have some ready answers though,

But there are questions I don't know!

The sketch lies right there, like a ready show,

My eyes see it yet my heart denies to know.

Like a helpless human under a beast's claw,

I find many solutions but each with a flaw.

Like a river, I skip over things and prefer just to flow,

A dam stops me to get answers, I pretend not to know.

The roads smile and I run away, making a fake show,

The rain sings to me, my lack of security does not know.

I stare at the sky, with the clouds, I see my hope grow,

I begin to answer your questions but confusion charges a blow!

Like some warmth preserved in heart amid the constant snow,

I want to tell you the answer, but being unsure, I say, I don't know!!!
