I don't know the reason

I don't know the reason for your pain

I don't know why the storms are strong around you

Why you're drowning in the rain

And I don't know your struggle

I don't know the chaos that you face

But just like the seasons

I believe better days will come your way

Because even the dark of winter

Changes to light in the spring 

And the cold melts away

Under the warmth the sunshine brings

So I don't have all the answers

I can't explain with a reason

But I can tell you this

I just know it's for a season
