I Changed, We Changed

Could the summers be any better,

Could the spring go any merrier,

Could the flowers bloom any better,

No, I thought.

With you being there,

The summers left their uncomfortable hotness,

The winters got filled with warmth,

The rains became more happy,

And the roads left their loneliness.

That is a day in my deepest and loveliest memories.

They got a companion,

A companion of their dreams,

Who fulfilled all their dreams.

Could it have been any better?

I ask myself in pain,

I ask the person standing in the mirror (in front of me),

And you what she said?

"It's the happiest scene,

A movie called life has sand called time

It slipped.

It wasn't your fault,

It was his."

Why do I have to pay for his dues?

His mistake,

His clues.

I feel broken,

As if a part of mine left me at his funeral .

I break each day to find myself alone. ( in the mirror )

I swore never to love again.

It's a big mistake,

A mistake that cannot be undone,

A mistake that has its own consequences.

If anything I will be my best and my worst companion.

And look what I have come through,

A challenge that it was,

But in the end I won .

It's just me and myself

So I could say,

I changed, We changed.
