Hope: That Keeps Me Alive

I'm hardly able to move on in life.

On the outside, everything seems perfect,

But inside something is making me despair.

I am just a mortal earthling who has no aim.

That spark in me as a child is no longer mine.

I am scared of everything in life,

After looking deep into people I found a face behind their masks,

Now I can hardly trust anyone,

I learned what is life by experience, which I wish I had never known,

After unrevealing all the hidden mysteries of life, I have no wish to live.

I know my end will be just like others, but my struggle will remain unsung till I make it big like few people.

I don't know me, but I know this world which is cruel to unknowns like me.

Here money and power are worthy than our longing souls.

Why live in this world, when all it offers is pain and all it does is break me into pieces.

I lost everything I treasured about myself.

But the one last thing that keeps me alive is hope.

I do a job I hate the most, I tolerate all the injustice and I pass my every worst day with hope for a bright and good future,

Though my end remains the same.

Hope of seeing my loved ones smile and stay happy one day.

The hope of finding the lost person in me.

Hope for a better world for everyone.

Hope that all get what they desire and deserve in life, where money and power will not manipulate mankind.

Hope is effective in keeping us strong.

Despite all the chaos you face in life, don't give up hope.

One day life will become beautiful just the way you dreamed of, so keep fighting your way with hope.
