Forgiveness doesn't make the pain go away.

Saying sorry doesn't change the past anyway.

Honestly, there's nothing much to say,

In comforting a heart that's broken in every way.

Only God can make a brand new way they say.

He'll heal hearts and take the pain away.

So, with a bitter heart I make a promise today.

I'll hold on to God and pray each day,
