Her Love
Her Love
She is like no other,
Fire and Ice manifested as one.
Not a care for others
Yet eternal love stored in her heart
Just for me.
Like clay she moulds herself
To fulfil my whims,
For a smile on my face,
The lengths she goes
Unsung to me.
I often wonder how
One can love so fiercely.
Without taking nothin in return,
A love so unconditional
It never ceases to faze me.
Every word of hers is coated
With an ethereal sweet.
Her loving gaze alone speaks
A million words to me.
Time itself wonders
How she manages to keep
An appeal so pleasant
As if the world lays at her feet.
Unfazed by the shadows of death that creep,
She holds me in an embrace so warm
That atones for every second spent apart.
Her memories, I cherish
Like no other boon.
Had she the chance,
I know she'd bottle up
My laughter and drink it every day.
Everyday till death do us apart.
She is a wonder and a gift,
Definitely not perfect
Yet so exquisitely flawed.
She is my mother,
An angel sent just for me.
