Helen Of Troy

Helen Of Troy

A smile, the best thing that adorns your lips,

A mere curve can sink a thousand ships!!!

Need no sticks, need no corals,

A fight for you doth need no morals!!!

To claim your hand come warriors of fame,

Spellbound by the word that is your name,

Villages they sack, forts they destroy,

Cities laid bare, even Golden Troy!!!

Your touch is toxic, of mystic brew,

Befuddles a captain, ship, and crew.

Seldom have heavens children spawn,

Who bear the rosy cheeks of dawn.

Hard to get, and harder to keep,

Blessed the gusts that tress your sweep.

Scathing your talks, full of derision.

For mortals, you seem a distant horizon.

They seek your bounty as theirs to claim,

There's more than the beauty that adds to your fame.

The sight of you turns mortals blind,

You are a woman who speaks her mind.
