Heart Says

Heart says I am simply a lump of flesh

I say no

 How then I keep there my sorrows and happiness?

Heart says I only circulate

Blood to all your body lanes

Same as a pump does, in arteries and veins.

I say no

I ask where then live the poems?

Heart says I am only an organ

I say who says you are not

But you don’t live when I leave

You cannot be bought.

I teach you to love,

To everyone, you have taught.
