Happy Place

What is a happy place?

Where you feel at home,

Where your head feels light,

And all your worries are gone?

A place which is an escape from school

Or a place where your mind is at peace

A place where you feel like yourself

Where you can breathe with ease?

Is my happy place where I live?

No, it's where my mind does.

My happy place is in all the books I read.

My happy place is the one I imagine myself in every night.

My happy place is the one which cannot be real

But it makes me feel alive.

My happy place is where I know my worth

A place that embraces me when I am at worst.

My happy place always cherishes me,

My happy place is like the spring I love, but never got to see.

My happy place is where I run to When I feel left out

And that place gives me all the love

It doesn't judge, no doubt.

My happy place is gloomy, and at the same time It is so bright

My happy place is as calm as a winter night.

My happy place is all lavenders and lilacs

It has always gotten my back.

My happy place is in my imagination,

I go there when I feel hopeless

Because my Happy Place is my 𝐻𝑂𝑀𝐸!

Even though I am lonely there,

I never feel alone.

My 𝖨𝗆𝖺𝗀𝗂𝗇𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝗌 are my Happy Place

A place that welcomes me on my worst days
