Under The Night Sky

I looked at the night sky,

I was under the stars

I didn't know where my thoughts were drifting to...

Hovering from the silver moon to the red mars.

I looked at the night sky,

I lay under the stars.

It kind of seemed to heal me

It made me forget my scars.

And as I dreamt under the night sky,

I closed my eyes,

Oh! It felt so awesome,

And unbelievably nice!

Dear self, be like the Night Sky, under which you lay 

It is so bold and confident, yet it supports every being's dismay

Dear self, I hope you become a better version by the break of the day
