GREEN
GREEN
Cool and lively, in nature's cradle
The colour coating our vein
The harbinger of growth and nurtured life
And sustenance and life, the colour green.
Water from heaven above
Falls on the dusty grass
Washes away all dirt and soot
And brings out the real hue at last.
Shining green fields and land
So bright they hurt the eye
The world is full of the need for life
And by all means you couldn't defy.
Lush and green, thick and intense
A greenish tinge in the ocean
I could drown in it and stay there always
In the pool of life in motion.
