Glass Half Empty or Half Full?
Glass Half Empty or Half Full?
An hourglass counting sediments,
As time drains away,
Sifting snapping down the throat to cut,
It's there, there into it half but,
Is it a glass half empty or glass half full?
Cut throat competition, dark waters,
Snakes slithering below,
Sinners clawing through the skin, scarring the heart shallow.
With God's mercy, the gates open, both to heaven and hell, a handful goodness and hell handful,
Glass half empty or glass half full?
Holding heads high to catch some breath, struggling for life and waiting for death,
Age hails to balance midway,
Vision to see the glass half full and more to go,
Vision to sip and linger every moment and not wait for the glass to empty,
Vision makes a difference,
And completion? It's not mind, it's the heart that completed completion,
That's my confession.
