Forever

And for once, I want to be,

An orchid in the thick of roses, 

Lucifer illuminating the nightfall, 

A hilly heart with a beach brain, 

Your logic infatuated to art.

 

But surely forever, I wanna be, 

A lost scrap in the nook of library, 

The ink gushing through my veins, 

My pain fueling poetry, 

Your free-verse yonder the rhymes.
