Forever

and for once, I want to be,

an orchid in the thick of roses, 

lucifer illuminating the nightfall, 

a hilly heart with a beach brain, 

your logic infatuated to art.

 

but surely forever, I wanna be, 

a lost scrap in the nook of library, 

the ink gushing through my veins, 

my pain fueling poetry, 

your free-verse yonder the rhymes.
