A Pie In The Sky
A Pie In The Sky
Perdurable,
Abode of infinity,
As a pie in the sky,
They fancy her,
For her gold ring,
Silvery claw,
Dazzling diamonds,
Scribbling through her,
Cotton-cloud heart,
Walling the proud peak,
Mourns to please the trees,
And they say humans are toxic.
He who buys the farm,
Finds his way back to her,
But fell hard for the eventide,
And his pinks and blues,
Though he never painted her,
With any of those.
