Letting Go

Looking at the starry sky reminds of you

While making me blue,

You are my light and soul,

That probably you never knew.

Picturing us together always

Though it was mere a thought,

What to do?

You are residing here ,

In this heart as ever tangling knot.

All those laughs and smiles

I wish would be for me,

But, other than a friend in me,

Anything else you never see.

Hoped

You could read between the lines,

You could find love in these shy eyes,

Then probably you would,

Have gotten answers to all your whys.

It's difficult now to continue

Being your that kind perfect friend,

I should be responsible enough,

To put this misery to an end.

Even when apart,

Let's cherish our memories,

Being away from you,

You can never guess,

How much emptiness this heart carries.

Regrets sometimes,

Opening up to you.

Putting down my shield,

Now grief and sadness should be over,

Courage and strength has to wield.

We will meet in future

Maybe someday, somewhere,

We'll see that time

Whether this silly heart still cares.
