Forever a maiden
Forever a maiden
Nothing called to her now
not the guy with his ears pierced in a row
not the doctor's son who just winked
vehicles moved, the traffic lights blinked
Life went on, the girl frozen in love
her hands raised, she prayed from above
the three wheeler came to a halt
everyone she saw had their fault
The white guy didn't have thick eyebrows
at times she wondered if there is such thing as Cupid's arrows
that handsome guy didn't have the right amount of hair
that happy lookin' one couldn't have a nightmare
Every guy she saw was not her Eric
he is forbidden and she had gone hysteric
oh why? why can't the world be fair?
and give us all our much needed pair
But alas! love is not kind
It wouldn't let the lovers bind
so she believe she would forever be a maiden
loving other's children n' carrying his secret, a burden
