Footsteps

Every night is like hush!

Blood in the vein rush!

Ears hear the same sound,

Of laughter that is clowned.

Dogs giving scary bark ;

Making soul afraid of the dark.

Heartbeats so fast!

And mind remembers the past!

The sound of footsteps,

Just near my doorsteps. 

Could it be a crime?

Or else be a scary rhyme?

Every night the same feel,

Secrets that are hard to reveal.

Though the days are awful ;

The nights are so fearful.

Eyes rolling here and there ;

Seeing horrible scenes with fear ;

Feeling ghostly everywhere - But still 

The sound of Footsteps is heard!

Closing the eyes to cease the tears,

Fears fly away and disappear,

Bringing good dreams with cheers!
