Fascination
Fascination
Those mesmerizing sapphire eyes,
Glistening like a serene lake.
Those luscious lips,
Someone envious, they will surely make.
Those blushing cheeks,
Ever so soft and rosy.
I see you sleeping there,
Seeming so cozy.
Hair as lustrous as silk,
And as black as soot.
Those tangled flicks on your brows,
And that torn boot.
Your voice a melodious song,
Lovely from the first sound.
That enchanting smile with cute dimples,
Makes me feel profound.
Maybe your parents were different,
Did not have the fascination as I do.
Maybe that is why you are here,
In this cardboard box, they left you.
