FADING AWAY
FADING AWAY
I still remember,
Those days of December,
That grin, that embraced your face,
While we ran,
Amidst the snow falling fierce.
Like a petal swaying,
On my face,
Felt you touching,
Always leaving a love trace.
The way you whispered in my ear,
Every single sigh of bliss of yours,
Just took away my each fear,
On my lips rains of smiles,
You never failed to pour.
The one you were only,
Never did you ever question me,
Collecting every broken piece of my story,
Wiped you off every tear,
That ever disquieted me.
Every single place we went,
You made it ours forever,
Now in them, I look for your scent,
Above the hills, under the rivers.
Our screams echoing
Through these walls,
Hitting my ear,
Through my chest they sear,
I turn around,
And feebly watch everything fall.
You’ve faded away,
To somewhere balmy and serene,
Leaving me wobbling,
In a world which seems nothing but grey.
