Expiry Date
Expiry Date
In this world of mortal cage,
The call for end, comes with age.
Each a life and each a being,
Expires like a mortal thing.
Oft we say, our days are few,
Live each day like a day too new.
Feel the whims of the bubbly soul,
Cherish each moment as a whole.
Leaves fall when trees shed,
With aging rhyme each hue shall fade.
Each life shall kiss the final shore,
Walking through each open door.
Unknown threads or broken tags,
Useless alms in adorned bags.
Must not cross the final gate,
They all do have an expiry date.
All life we fight for wealth,
Ignorant of inner health.
Picking gems we fill up bags,
To leave behind few crumbled rags.
Yes, my friend do mark my say,
Mortal cage has a final day.
The inner soul shall kiss the fate,
With no tag of expiry date.
