Evy
Evy
Pulling the oars,
I feel them heavy,
Rowing the boat,
All I see is my Evy.
Looking at the stars,
They seem to be plain
Alone in this river,
Life has now become a bane
I feel her fingers,
When the wind brushes my hair
I hear her voice
Melting like whispers in the air.
The world has become dark,
For the moon has left the night
Who will guide me now?
For she was my only light.
I love you, my Evy,
I love you such a lot
And if true love is so true,
Our souls too shall never part.
