You made me walk on the bed of grass

 Dear mom!

 To make me feel deep nature's soft caress 

 Love and nurture mother earth for all giving stances

 You helped me oar, the waves of time

 To treasure the subtleties of life

 You made me realize, nuances of ebb and flow

 Taught me to cherish moments 

 Both high paced and low

 You honed my skills to perceive things as they are 

 Tamed my thought process 

 And I could carry gratefulness in my heart...

 Learnt to lean on compassion and care

 I am what I am, because you are

 You have fueled, my seraphic wings

 To soar high and reach the star

 Mere words will not suffice my feelings

 No rhetoric too can do justice...

You are God's incarnation for sure

And my idol who I daily worship.
