Euphoria
Euphoria
The dazzling Sun makes me happy every day;
Spotting butterflies in my garden makes me hay;
A sun shower with fluffy clouds floating away;
The soul-stirring earthy smell of clay.
Happy for the kith and kin who love and care;
Friends who guide me to find my way.
Happy for the warm and cosy home to stay;
May these graces continue for the rest of my life, I pray.
Happy to be residing in a multicultural city;
A chance to smile at the 100 faces I see.
Happy for the towering trees and flowery Broadway;
And a drive on a pleasant and nice highway.
Life is infused with stress you may say;
Plagued with illness, struggles, and dismay;
Just pause, reflect, and a little attention if you pay;
You'll come to realize 100 million miracles have been sent your way.
Happy with everything I inherited until yesterday;
Thankful for all that I'm going to receive today.
The reason for my joyful mindset is the little blessings I replay;
As though I'd won an Oscar for my life's screenplay.
