Hold On Or Cut Loose

Wish I could trust you,

And I surely tried to do.

But Incidents and memories from the past,

Makes it hard to cast.

 

Crack on crack, 

It's hammering hard,

Infecting our relationship like a plague, 

Unsure how long can we withstand, for it’s a little vague.

 

Disheartening though to go through this,

Over and over again,

Thoughts of ending with a farewell kiss,

Keeps occurring like a chain.

 

Holding on tight Or cut loose,

Both weaken the frame,

Just the right blend of both 

Will surely win the game.
