Embracing winter
Embracing winter
Putting on clothes,
Who had a good slumber for like a year,
Handing down muffs,
To my hella cold ears.
A cold rosiness passes down my cheek,
To my lip making them dry,
As I watch birds in the open air fly,
I hear the jammed snowy doors creak.
I stare about,
Through my rimy window,
Asking the balmy earth its whereabouts,
Really foggy it does become when my mouth, I blow.
Rolling in my blanket indolently,
Doing nothing but just pitying me,
“Why do I always have to work?
I ask myself resentfully.
Natheless winter fills my face with glee.
I gaze at the sun,
Setting down so early,
Follows it the serene moon,
Radiating so gaily.
I step down into the streets,
Amidst the snow and the flowers,
I stand still,
Sniffing the scent of the ice bits,
The divine vibes of winter I feel.
I walk forth,
Joining my mates for the Christmas Eve,
Inside the shack, around the tree,
I feel the warmth,
As a smile on my face the cold winds weave.
It’s so tranquil,
Nothing could make me happier,
As I stand here,
Relishing the cuddles of winter.
